Jeremiah 29:11

Well it's official. I graduated from the University of Memphis, Summa Cum Laude!! I am so thrilled that I have reached this point in my life. It has been a long 5 years, but I can truly say that I have had the most amazing college experience here in Memphis. I had the most amazing weekend with my wonderful family and friends.

I started the weekend off with an amazing photo shoot with my great friend and sorority sister, Kelly Ginn. I wanted some pictures around campus to celebrate the occasion and so I reached out to Kelly who just started her own photography business. Kelly made the shoot so much fun! She is a true natural and that became even more obvious when I saw the pictures! Here are a few so that you can see for yourself!

Love my sister.

My absolute favorite :)

Then the next day was graduation! I spent the morning with my parents & my sister at the hotel just relaxing. Before the ceremony, I opened a few gifts from my parents. Here are just a few pictures of the gifts!

I love my new ipod arm holder for when I workout!

Then we left and met my two best friends, Anna Claire & Meghan and went to the forum. We stopped and took some pictures on Beale Street before heading into the ceremony.

Then we all went inside for the ceremony. The ceremony was very long, but it was actually very nice. Micky got several shots during the ceremony.

Once the ceremony was over, we went back to the hotel and relaxed for a little while before the party at Old Venice. Old Venice is one of my favorite restaurants in Memphis, so Mom & Dad rented out a room there for us to have a party after the ceremony! I was so blessed to have many of my wonderful friends and family there to celebrate with me!

I am seriously so blessed with the best parents in the world! They made the party so much fun. I am extremely proud to be their daughter.

Friends since freshman year.

Now the poplar question at this time is always, "So what's next?" To be completely honest I have no idea!!! This is why this blog post is titled, Jeremiah 29:11. This is one of my absolute favorite bible verses. It constantly reminds me that God has a plan. We just have to put our faith in him and he will provide.

This is very hard for me at times since I have been known to be quite the control freak. However, I am taking this time to spend with my friends and family. Also, I am going to make the most of this summer. I have already started a weight loss journey and lost a total of 20 pounds so far. This makes me so excited! I have found a new love of running and try to run each morning to get the day started off right! I am also hoping to take a few trips this summer including the beach and maybe a few road trips to visit friends. Whatever this summer may hold for me, I know that as long as I put my faith in the Lord everything will work out for the best. I am going to try to be better about blogging as well this summer, so stay tuned!!!
